Single Storey Extension & Landscape Gardening in Warwick

This single storey extension and landscaping project in Warwick really transformed the look of this new build property. The extension itself is fairly sizable and so adds a significant amount of space in the home for the family to use and enjoy.

Phase one of the project required that we undertake groundworks, preparing the ground, digging footings and laying the foundations for the extension. Simultaneously, members of the KSW Developments team began to take on some of the landscaping tasks, beginning with the construction of a boundary wall with dramatic column features.

The foundations were poured during the summer and dried out pretty quickly. Brickworks began pretty soon afterwards, with meticulous detail and in preparation for some outstanding glazing.

The extension was designed as a flat roof extension with two sizable skylights and two impressive bifold doors. One on the front of the extension featuring four panes, and a smaller three pane bifold on the side of the extension. The bifold doors were installed and looked incredible in a dramatic gun metal grey.

The truly stunning aspect of this extension is the incredible cedar cladding on the front of the extension. This feature looks modern and beautifully architectural particularly with the larger bifold doors set off to the side. The exterior of the property looks absolutely breathtaking - if we do say so ourselves (and we do!).

The interior of the extension was equally as striking! With wall to ceiling, high gloss white tiles, high shine grey flooring tiles and a large unglazed window into the kitchen which really shows off the impressive kitchen with its deep moody toned cabinetry and bright white worktops. The new extension will be home to a striking entertaining space which, during the summer, will almost entirely open up on one corner to link the indoors and outdoors of this home.

The garden was landscaped and the boundary wall was skimmed and topped with deep grey slabs to pull together the final look. We were really pleased with how this extension and landscaping project came together and we hope that the clients get a great many years of enjoyment out of it.
